What an afternoon I just had the best bloody time at an engagement shoot with the amazing couple, Kim and Tom. We were at the stunning Olive View Estate in Scenic Rim and the setting was just breathtaking. The sun was setting and the golden light was just magical. As if that wasn’t enough, we spiced up the shoot by using an old blue Chevy which just added to the vintage charm and elegance of the scene.
The shoot was all about intimacy and capturing the timeless love between the couple. But honestly, it wasn’t just about that. We had so much fun and we laughed and joked around like old friends. It was such a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. And honestly, I think that’s the key to capturing the essence of a couple’s love – making them feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera.
To top it all off, Sarah Thong did an incredible job with hair and makeup and the colourful bouquet by Flour and Bloom was just the perfect pop of colour against the scenic background.
Kim and Tom are getting married in Brisbane next year and I have no doubt that their wedding will be just as elegant and special as their engagement shoot. Being able to capture the love and joy of soon-to-be married couples is such an honour and I cannot express how grateful I am to have been a part of this shoot.
